Holistic Massage is one of the oldest, most effective and natural forms of healing. Swedish massage techniques are used with oil to relax the body, calm the mind and allow breathing to become deep and slow, relieving mental, emotional and physical fatigue. During the massage trigger point therapy and Myofascial Release work may be incorporated where necessary.
Hot Stone Therapy
Hot Stone Therapy allows you to enter a deeper dimension of relaxation and wellbeing. It incorporates smooth, warm Basalt stones with traditional massage. As the skin warms and absorbs the therapeutic oils, the muscles begin to relax enabling the Basalt stones to work deep in to the muscular layers stimulating the circulation and calming the nervous system.
Reiki is an ancient healing method which originated in Tibet. It focuses on helping re-balance mind, body and spirit. It is a natural therapy which channels life force energy to where it is most needed, supporting the body's natural capacity for self-healing.
Sports massage is an effective way to reduce muscle tenderness and increase flexibility. It involves the manipulation of soft tissue for the purpose of injury prevention and as an aid to recovery from over-training. It is not just for those who participate in sport! Sports Massage can enhance circulation, reduce fatigue and tight muscles and increase range of movement.
Hopi Ear Candling
Hopi Ear Candling uses a hollow candle made from cotton infused with beeswax, honey and therapeutic oils. The candle is painlessly inserted into the ear to form a seal, creating a gentle massaging sensation of the eardrum and drawing out impurities. Some people experience an immediate sense of pressure being released around the sinuses, and an overall calming effect.
